I once heard that a fish's memory is only 7 seconds. Every 7 seconds the fish has a new memory. The fish “forgets” the previous memory and starts with a “fresh” memory. In the world of a fish, there is always something new.
In 2008, I came up with the painting concept of "seven seconds a world", that is, after seven seconds of memory, my new art world will begin.
In my world of painting, I try to start each painting with a new memory. Each new piece of work is "fresh” and not repeated. This helps me to continually expand my creative process.
With each “fresh” start I create something new. Like the seasons my paintings are always changing.
